I did the (May 3rd) story on the Pan American Cafe and included the earliest photo from the 1920s of the restaurant.
Compare the guy behind the counter to this portrait of King Mar's father, Dune Toi Mar. I make a case that it's probably my great grandfather behind the counter.
King's parents portraits still hang in the Baksha home. This photo was taken in 1985 when Kim visited Baksha.

Makes sense and the likeness is there. Good conclusion.
Ma Mong Lan mentioned the people in the home still considered "my grandfather as the owners". So I didn't think about anyone except grandfather. I didn't think "great grandfather". Thanks for the wakeup knock on my head.
Color photos. Taken in US, framed and shipped or hand delivered to China?
Since great grandma did not come to the US until about 1957, the photo had to have been taken in China.
I'm overthinking it. "It's your grandfather's ..." It's common to display your parents portraits. So it was still King Mar's home.
