The 2005 Relays claimed it had the 2nd largest crowd (24,200). Here's the crowd from 1967, which sure look huge. 1972 is the largest (30,000+?). It was one of the years, Jim Ryun ran. Here's the 100 race (can't remember if it was yards or meters); I think (Jim?) Hines was the winner. (gmw photo)
